Ukrainian Defense Forces down 103 Russian drones, 51 lost from radar

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have shot down 103 Russian drones, while 51 more were lost from tracking.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Starting 19:30 PM on Friday, February 28, the forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine using 154 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various decoy drones from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The Air Force, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces worked to repel the attack.

By 8:30 on Saturday, March 1, confirmed drone shoot-downs had occurred in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kherson, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions.

Additionally, 51 Russian decoy drones were lost from tracking without causing damage.

As a result of the enemy strike, Kharkiv, Odesa, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Kyiv regions were affected.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that the Russian forces had launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv, injuring seven people.
