
On March 2, the Russian forces shelled Nikopol, injuring three civilians.
That is according to Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration (RMA), Ukrinform reports.
“In Nikopol, three people were injured due to enemy artillery shelling. An 84-year-old man was rescued from under the rubble by emergency responders and taken to the hospital in serious condition. Among the injured are also two women, aged 44 and 82.”
Authorities are working at the scene, assessing the damage and providing assistance to residents.
As previously reported, late on March 1, the Russian forces launched artillery and drone strikes on communities in Nikopol district.
