
Doctors’ offices in the children’s hospital in Sumy were not damaged when a Russian drone hit them: the impact affected the part of the building between the top floor and the roof.
That’s according to the hospital’s deputy chief Natalia Spavachkova, who spoke with Kordon.media, Ukrinform reports.
“It happened at night, there was no one in the clinic except for security guards. The impact affected not into our doctors’ offices, but the staircase area. The offices aer undamaged, so the hospital remains open,” Spichakova said.
According to the official, the drone hit the building between the fourth floor and the roof, shattering windows.
Medics added that after the fire was put out, the offices where medical examinations are conducted, including ECG and ultrasound, were flooded with water from firehoses.
As Ukrinform reported, on the night of March 4, the Russians attacked Sumy with drones. One of them hita children’s hospital. No one was injured in the attack.
