Washington’s decision to freeze military aid to Ukraine should mobilize Europe. Assistance should be organized at the expense of frozen Russian assets based in Europe.

Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Szymon Holownia, stated this on X, Ukrinform reports.

“Washington’s decision should mobilize Europe. Armaments, sanctions, aid to Ukraine to protect it against Putin. At the expense of what? For Russian assets frozen in Europe. France, Germany, this is not the time to hesitate. Europe, the time to act is now,” Holownia wrote.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated on X that a sovereign Ukraine capable of defending itself from Russian aggression means a safer Poland.
