Reportedly, the youngest victim was Yefrem, who was 1 year and 7 months old. On March 7, 2022, his family left Tokariv and disappeared. A few days later, a burnt-out car was found near Vorozhba in the Lebedyn community. The entire Soloshenko family was inside.
The oldest victim was 82-year-old Oleksandra Oleynichenko. On the night of August 30, 2023, Russians fired on the Shalyhyne community. One of the shells hit her house. She did not survive.
Reportedly, 982 civilians were wounded in Sumy region during this time, including 58 children.
The number of destroyed residential buildings is 498. Damaged – 7,835.

As Ukrinform reported, last night and in the morning, Russians fired 5 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. Six explosions were recorded. Yunakivka, Krasnopilia and Velykopysarivka communities were shelled.
