Throughout the night and morning of March 7, Russians attacked energy facilities in several regions of Ukraine, resulting in power outages for consumers.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the Ukrenergo National Energy Company on Facebook.
“Throughout the night and morning, the enemy launched a missile and drone attack on energy facilities in several regions. As a result of the damages, consumers are cut off power. Emergency restoration works started as soon as the security situation allowed,” the report reads.
It is noted that electricity consumption as of 9:30 on Friday was 9.3% lower than the previous day’s level due to significant warming and the active use of household solar energy systems.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Energy reports that over the past day, energy workers restored electricity supply to 15,885 consumers who had been cut off due to hostilities.
As reported earlier, overnight, on March 7, Russians launched another attack on the energy infrastructure in Odesa region.
