War update: 146 clashes on frontline over past day, most intense in Toretsk, Kursk sectors

Over the past day, as many as 146 combat clashes took place along the frontline, with 33 occurring in the Toretsk sector and 32 in the Kursk operational zone.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“A total of 146 combat engagements were recorded in the past 24 hours. According to updated information, the enemy carried out 89 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropping 149 guided aerial bombs and deploying 2,729 kamikaze drones. Additionally, they conducted over 5,100 shelling attacks, including 194 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS),” the statement says.

The General Staff reported that Russian forces launched airstrikes on various settlements, including Velyka Rybytsia, Mohrytsia, Yunakivka, Basivka in Sumy region, Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka, Sukhyi Yar, Novopil, Zelene Pole in Donetsk region, Temyrivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Stepove, Piatykhatky, Plavni in Zaporizhzhia region, and Mylove in Kherson region.

In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled four Russian attacks near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, two enemy attacks were repelled near Zahryzove.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy launched 16 assaults, attempting to advance near Ivanivka, Balka Zhuravka, Yampolivka, and toward Hryhorivka.

In the Siversk sector, Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian positions once near Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, 13 clashes were recorded near Chasiv Yar and toward Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces launched 33 attacks near Dyliivka, Krymske, Ozarianivka, Leonidivka, and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian defenders halted 19 Russian assaults near Promin, Dachenske, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Ulakly, and Andriivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled five attacks near Kostiantynopil, Skudne, and Burlatske.

In the Huliaipole sector, five Russian assaults were stopped near Pryvilne and Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 Russian attempts to advance near Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, Nesterianka, Kamianske, and Piatykhatky.

In the Prydniprovske sector, no offensive actions were reported.

In the Kursk operational zone, Ukrainian forces repelled 32 enemy attacks, while the Russians conducted 27 airstrikes, dropping 35 guided aerial bombs and launching 467 artillery strikes, including 26 MLRS attacks.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.

Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 17 areas clusters of enemy troops and equipment, as well as one electronic warfare system.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian forces since the full-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 882,950 personnel, with 1,150 casualties in the past 24 hours alone.
