
Russian troops have launched an attack on Dobropillia in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region, killing four people and injuring 18 others.
Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“At least four people have been killed and 18 wounded — these are the preliminary consequences of the strikes on Dobropillia. The Russians carried out three strikes on the city overnight. According to initial reports, four apartment buildings have been damaged,” Filashkin stated.
The exact number of casualties and the full extent of the destruction are still being assessed. Emergency services, local authorities, police, and rescue teams are currently working at the scene.
