Freezing the front line could lead to the division of Kherson region and the establishment of an armed border similar to the Berlin Wall.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin, Ukrinform reports.

“If the front line is frozen, it could lead to the division of Kherson region and the establishment of an armed border similar to the Berlin Wall,” Prokudin said.

He added that Russian troops in southern Ukraine are seeking to seize bridgeheads on the Dnipro River. According to him, at first the occupiers tried to cross the river by boat, which ended in disaster for them.

“Now Russian troops, using armored vehicles, are approaching the destroyed road and rail bridges to block these routes, stop logistics from our side, and protect their boats,” Prokudin said.
