
Between March 3 and March 9, Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed 700 Russian aerial attack systems.
The Ukrainian Air Force Command said this in a statement on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
In particular, Ukrainian air defenders destroyed 25 Kh-101 cruise missiles, 8 Kalibr cruise missiles, 1 Iskander-K cruise missile, 1 Kh-59 guided air missile, 520 Shahed attack drones, 39 reconnaissance drones, and 106 other types of UAVs.
Throughout the week, tactical aviation conducted over 120 sorties, including 44 for air strikes and close air support, 80 for fighter air cover, and 21 for aerial reconnaissance
Pilots carried out dozens of airstrikes using bombs and missiles of various types, hitting command posts, enemy troop concentrations, and military equipment sites.
Meanwhile, drone units of the Air Force’s Combined Rifle Brigade carried out 1,134 combat missions, including 1,029 reconnaissance flights and 105 FPV drone strikes and bomb drops.
As a result, Ukrainian forces eliminated up to 70 Russian personnel, destroyed specialized military equipment, and neutralized 20 enemy shelters and positions.
