The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, emphasized that when appointing commanders of army corps, priority is given to young officers with combat experience.
According to Ukrinform, Syrskyi posted this on Facebook following a working meeting on the formation of army corps.
“I heard from the corps commanders on the procedure for implementing priority measures to form corps departments. In the appointment of corps commanders, priority is given to young, promising officers who already have sufficient combat experience and have distinguished themselves with effective actions at the head of brigades,” noted Syrskyi.
The Commander-in-Chief listened to the problematic issues and gave the necessary orders for their immediate resolution.
Syrskyi also identified further tasks in the reorganization process.
“In order to withstand and win, the Ukrainian army is becoming more modern, more efficient, and stronger. We continue to work according to the plan,” the general emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Syrskyi said at a monthly meeting on the development of unmanned systems that the enemy was borrowing the experience of the Defense Forces to increase its own drone production.
