The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced this on Facebook, providing an operational update as of 16:00 on Tuesday, March 11, Ukrinform reports.
In the Sumy region, the communities of Rudak and Dmytrivka suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy launched five offensive operations toward Hlyboke and Vovchansk. Russian airstrikes targeted Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, and Veterynarne.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 40 times near Nova Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzove. Five battles are still underway.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy conducted 18 assaults near Hrekivka, Yampolivka, Novomykhailivka, Nove, and Zelena Dolyna. Seven engagements are ongoing.
In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks near Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske, while three clashes continue.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian forces are fighting off four enemy assaults as Russian troops attempt to break through in the areas of Maiske, Chasiv Yar, and Stupochky. Nine attacks have already been repelled.
In the Toretsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 21 enemy assaults near Dyliivka, Dachne, Druzhba, Kurdiumivka, and Toretsk. Six battles are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces attempted 58 attacks to push Ukrainian troops from their positions near Vodiane Druhe, Novotroitske, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Zelene, Zvirove, Leontovychi, Serhiivka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, Katerynivka, Oleksiivka, Shevchenko, and Andriivka. Ukrainian forces repelled 47 attacks, while 11 engagements are still ongoing. The village of Nova Poltavka was hit by enemy airstrikes.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy launched 15 attacks near Kostiantynopil, Katerynivka, Vilne Pole, and Burlatske. Three battles are still ongoing.
In the Huliaipole sector, 15 battles took place near Pryvilne, Zelene Pole, Novosilka, and Novopil. Enemy airstrikes hit Huliaipole and Novopil.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy carried out nine offensives toward Novodanylivka, Stepove, Piatykhatky, Shcherbaky, Kamianske, and Lobkove. Four engagements are ongoing.
In the Dnipro River sector, Russian forces attempted two attacks, but failed.
In the Kursk sector, there have been 23 engagements since the start of the day, with 14 still ongoing. Additionally, the enemy carried out three airstrikes using three glide bombs and conducted 167 artillery strikes, including nine from multiple rocket launchers.
