White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has described the meeting between U.S. and Ukrainian delegations in Jeddah as “positive” and “productive.”
She stated this at a press briefing in Washington on Tuesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“I can assure you, everybody here and the American people that the news we’ve received from that meeting throughout the day and the President has been briefed on is positive. This meeting has been productive,” Leavitt said.
She added that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz would announce the specifics of the discussions later.
Talks between Ukrainian and U.S. officials took place in Saudi Arabia on March 11.
