
In Ukraine, 601 children died as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General on Facebook.
“More than 2,390 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of March 12, 2025, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 601 children were killed and more than 1,788 were injured of varying severity,” the statement said.
Most of the children were injured in Donetsk region – 625, Kharkiv – 468, Kherson – 198, Dnipropetrovsk – 202, Kyiv – 136, Zaporizhzhia – 167, Mykolaiv – 118.
On March 11, two boys aged 13 and 11 were killed and a 14-year-old boy was wounded in the shelling of Rivne village in Donetsk region.
On March 8, a 15-year-old girl was injured in the shelling of Druzhkivka, Donetsk region.
On March 7, a 7-year-old girl was injured in the shelling of Kramatorsk.
On the same day, a 15-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling in Pokrovsk village, Myrhorod district, Poltava region.
Also, on March 7, 7 children sustained injuries of varying degrees as a result of shelling in Dobropillia, Donetsk region: girls aged 9, 14, 16 and 17, boys aged 10 and two 11-year-olds.
As reported by Ukrinform, on March 11, two teenagers were injured in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson as a result of a Russian drone attack.
