Drone attack on Chernihiv: emergency work completed in damaged building

In Chernihiv, rescuers have completed the dismantling of emergency structures in a five-story residential building that was struck by a Russian drone. One person was reported injured in the enemy attack.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

It is noted that the injured woman received medical assistance.

According to the State Emergency Service (SES), the attack destroyed the 4th and 5th floors of the building, damaged six cars, and shattered windows in three neighboring buildings.

Rescuers dismantled the damaged structures using specialized high-altitude equipment. They also helped residents evacuate 20 cats from the damaged building.

At the “Point of Invincibility”, the affected individuals received necessary assistance, including hot meals and drinks.

A total of 48 people received psychological support.

Law enforcement officers, utility services, volunteers, and public organizations were involved in the aftermath of the attack.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the evening of March 15, Russian invaders attacked Chernihiv with drones, targeting two districts of the city.

One of the enemy drones struck a five-story apartment building, causing damage to two floors.

Patrol police officers, who were the first to arrive at the scene, came under a second wave of fire.
