Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni denied the participation of Italian troops in peacekeeping missions in Ukraine. During a virtual meeting of the Coalition of the Willing hosted by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Saturday, Meloni emphasized that Italian forces would not take part in any potential peacekeeping operations in Ukraine.
That is according to ANSA, Ukrinform reports.
“No national participation is scheduled in a potential military force on the ground,” Meloni said during the virtual meeting on Ukraine.

Meloni had a phone conversation with Starmer before participating in the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing.
