On Sunday, Russian forces launched missile and drone strikes on Chernihiv region, hitting the Semenivka Town Council building.

This was reported by Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Chaus on Telegram, as cited by Ukrinform.

“Today, during an air raid alert, an enemy ballistic missile, presumably an ‘Iskander,’ fell outside Semenivka community. Currently, an FPV drone attack on Semenivka is ongoing. Just a few minutes ago, there was a hit on the town council building,” Chaus wrote.

According to him, the attack caused partial power outages in Semenivka.

“Energy workers are already on site. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties,” Chaus informed.

The regional head also noted that for two consecutive nights, Russians had been attacking Chernihiv with Shahed drones.

Experts are inspecting heating, gas, and water supply networks to reconnect the building to utilities as quickly as possible. A resilience center has been set up on-site.

As previously reported, a Russian attack drone struck a five-story residential building in Chernihiv, partially destroying two floors.
