On Monday, March 17, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha will take part in the EU Foreign Affairs Council via video link.
The top diplomat announced the invitation to this meeting in a post on X, Ukrinform reports.
“I thank (EU High Representative – ed.) Kaja Kallas for inviting me to tomorrow’s EU Foreign Affairs Council. Our top priority is Europe’s unity, strength, and resolve. No time for narrow interests, petty blackmail, of Trojan horses. It’s an existential moment for Europe,” Sybiha wrote.
The minister added that in this period of historic security risks and challenges, “we must all work together to ensure long-term stability”.
“This is a matter of peace not only for Ukraine, but for all of Europe and every European family,” the minister noted.
It is noted that the EU Foreign Affairs Council itself will kick off at 9:00 Kyiv time. Sybiha will participate via video conference.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the EU foreign ministers decided to extend sanctions against Russia in connection with its ongoing aggression against Ukraine.
