A total of 148 combat engagements have been recorded throughout the past day on the Ukrainian battlefield. In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukraine’s Defense Forces have repelled 36 Russian offensive efforts.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.
“According to the latest updates, yesterday the enemy carried out 98 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and at settlements, dropping 161 KAB glide bombs. Also, they launched nearly 6,000 artillery strikes, including 188 involving multiple launch rocket systems. The enemy launched 2,735 kamikaze drones,” the report says.
Enemy airstrikes targeted the areas of Zakharivka, Khrypuny, and Kozacha Lopan in Kharkiv region; Ivanopillia, Bohatyr, Serhiivka, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Sukhyi Yar, Novo-olenivka, Nova Poltavka, Horikhove, Oleksiivka, Leontovychi, Novopavlivka, Myrnohrad, and Novopil in Donetsk region; Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhia region.
Over the past day, Ukraine’s aviation, missile and artillery forces have hit 17 enemy manpower and equipment clusters, a command post, an air defense system, and an artillery system.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy eight times stormed the positions of the Ukrainian troops in the Vovchansk area and towards Petrivka.
The Defense Forces repelled the assaults near Zahryzove, Lozova, and Kopanky in the Kupiansk direction where four attacks were recorded.
The enemy tried to advance 16 times in the Lyman direction, trying to wedge into the Ukrainian defenses near the settlements of Balka Zhuravka, Ivanivka, Nadiia, Yampolivka, and Hryhorivka.
Two enemy offensives were repelled in the Siversk direction as the invaders tried to advance in the Verkhniokamianske and Ivano-Daryivka areas.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russians attacked in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka area.
The enemy went for 17 assaults in the Toretsk direction in the areas of Toretsk and Druzhba.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders held back 36 offensive efforts near Sukha Balka, Oleksandropil, Novotoretske, Yelyzavetivka, Svyrydonivka, Promin, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, and Andriivka.
Ukraine’s Defense forces repelled 14 attacks in the Novopavlivka direction as the invaders attempted to advance near Kostiantynopil and Rozlyv.
In the Huliaypole direction, the invaders launched four attacks in the areas of Novopil and Novosilka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Russians attacked the Ukrainian positions 15 times in the areas of Stepove, Pyatykhatky, Shcherbaky, Zherebianky, and Kamianske.
The Russians made four unsuccessful attempts to attack the positions of Ukrainian units in the Prydniprovia direction.
Over the past day, 19 clashes took place in Kursk region, where the Russians launched 34 airstrikes, dropping 63 guided bombs and carried out 243 artillery strikes, including five involving multiple launch rocket launchers.
No signs of enemy offensive groupings being formed were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russia’s war casualty toll has reached an estimated 894,240, including 1,400 killed or wounded over the past 24 hours.
