Zelensky invited to G7 summit in Canada – media

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to participate in the G7 summit, which will take place in June in the Canadian province of Alberta.

According to a Ukrinform correspondent, this was reported by the Canadian public broadcaster CBC News.

“Carney spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on a call late Sunday and invited him to the G7 summit this summer, which Canada is hosting,” the article states.

As known, the G7 leaders’ meeting will be held from June 15 to 17 in the Kananaskis region of Alberta.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky described his conversation with Carney as “very good and substantive on many important topics.”
