Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,560 over past day

The total combat losses of the Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to March 18, 2025, amount to approximately 897,010 personnel, including 1,560 troops lost over the past day alone.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

The Ukrainian defense forces also destroyed 10,352 tanks (+8), 21,509 armored combat vehicles (+20), 24,640 artillery systems (+42), 1,319 MLRS (+1), 1,107 air defense systems (+3), 370 aircraft (no change), 331 helicopters (no change), 29,616 operational-tactical UAVs (+149), 3,121 cruise missiles (no change), 28 warships/boats (no change), one submarine (no change), 40,892 vehicles and fuel tankers (+107), 3,780 pieces of special equipment (+2).

As reported by Ukrinform, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated in his evening address on March 17 that March 18 marks one week since the U.S. ceasefire proposal was presented, but Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin continues to prolong the war.
