Two civilians killed, seven injured as Russians attack Kherson region

On March 17, Russian aggression in Kherson region claimed the lives of two people and left seven others wounded.

Ukrinform reports this citing Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the regional military administration.

According to Prokudin, Russian forces shelled and launched airstrikes at the following settlements: Kherson, Chornobaivka, Antonivka, Inzhenerne, Mykilske, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Pravdyne, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, Oleksandrivka, Beryslav, Zmiivka, Novoberyslav, Dudchany, Olhivka, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Novooleksandrivka, Novoraisk, Burhunka, Havrylivka, Novovorontsovka, Shylova Balka, Osokorivka, and Vesele.

As a result of the strikes 12 private houses, a “point of resilience” shelter, and a civilian vehicle were damaged.

Prokudin confirmed that two people were killed and seven others were injured in Russian attacks on March 17.

Also, during the night, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down a Russian Shahed-131/136 drone over Kherson region.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that a 56-year-old man was killed in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson during a Russian drone strike in the evening of March 17.
