
Two people sustained injuries in Kyiv region as a result of a Russian drone attack in the early hours of Wednesday, March 19.
That’s according to the regional police department, Ukrinform reports.
As of 8:30, several fires were recorded in open areas in Obukhiv, Boryspil, Fastiv, and Bucha districts.
A house was damaged in the Boryspil district.
In the Bucha district, 20 two-storey apartment blocks, 15 private houses, and 19 cars were affected. Two buildings and the summer terrace of one of the establishments were also hit. A 43-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man were injured as a result of the attack. Both were taken to hospital.
Patrol police response teams, CIS units, and bomb squads are working at the scenes, documenting the fallout from the attack.
The police will initiate criminal proceedings into Russian war crimes.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Forces shot down 72 drones the Russians had launched since Tuesday evening.
