Frontline, Saudi Arabia talks: Zelensky holds military cabinet meeting in Kharkiv

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a military cabinet meeting in Kharkiv to discuss the frontline situation and preparations for a meeting with the U.S. delegation in Saudi Arabia.

That’s according to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

Zelensky said that there were reports by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Hnatov.

The meeting was also attended by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and his deputy, Pavlo Palisa.

Discussions focused on the situation on key frontlines, including the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions, as well as ongoing operations in Russia’s Kursk region.

Special attention was given to preparations for a meeting with the U.S. delegation, scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, March 23.
