Rescuers evacuate over 30 people from Sumy region’s border area

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service units evacuated 31 people, including three children, from border settlements in the Sumy district on Saturday, March 22.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service reported this on Facebook.

Among those evacuated was an elderly woman who was unable to move independently and required medical assistance. Rescuers transported her in their vehicle and provided necessary aid until a medical team arrived.

Earlier reports said that the security situation in the Sumy region was worsening.
