Night drone attack on Kyiv: three people killed, ten injured

It is noted that on March 23 at about 0 hours. 19 minutes, as a result of an attack by Russian UAVs on the capital, a multi-storey building in the Dnipro district of the capital was damaged. An 80-year-old woman died in one of the apartments on the top floor. Several other apartments were also damaged. Three people were diagnosed with acute stress reaction.

“In addition, a 29-year-old man was injured in Dniprovsky district as a result of falling debris from unmanned aerial vehicles. Windows in a kindergarten and a restaurant were damaged. Apartment buildings were damaged in Podilskyi and Pecherskyi districts, and more than ten cars in Holosiivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts,” the OPG said.

In the Holosiivskyi district of the capital, a temporary building where a family with a child lived caught fire as a result of an enemy attack. A 5-year-old girl and her 35-year-old father died, and the child’s 26-year-old mother was hospitalized.

So far, three people have been reported dead, including a 5-year-old child, and 10 injured as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv.

Therefore, under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the commission of a war crime that caused the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).

Currently, rescuers and law enforcement officers are working on the ground to document the crimes of the Russian Federation. The exact number of victims is being established.

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the SBU Main Directorate in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
