Ukraine-U.S. negotiations in Riyadh conclude

Negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States have ended in Saudi Arabia.

Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“We have completed a meeting with the American team. The conversation was constructive and informative – we discussed key issues, in particular in the energy sector,” he wrote.

The Defense Minister reminded that the task of the President of Ukraine is to achieve a decent and lasting peace for our country and people, and thus for the whole of Europe.

“We are working to make this a reality,” Umerov emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, on March 23, the Ukrainian delegation began a meeting with the American team in Saudi Arabia to discuss some complex technical issues.

The Ukrainian delegation is headed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and includes State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleksandr Karasevych, Deputy Heads of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa and Ihor Zhovkva, and Deputy Energy Minister Mykola Kolisnyk.
