Currently, it is possible to shoot down up to 80% of Russian drones over the Kherson region, and this figure is growing.
Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, head of internal and information policy at the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said this on Ukrainian television, Ukrinform reports.
“Every day, the region faces massive attacks by enemy drones. However, the defense system is working better and better. Thanks to the creation of an electronic warfare dome over the Kherson region, we are now able to shoot down up to 80% of Russian drones, and this figure is increasing,” Tolokonnikov said.
He added that this kind of experience in countering UAVs is unique and not found anywhere else in the world. It is already yielding results, and the Kherson region is ready to share it with allies to resist Russian aggression.
