There have been 138 combat engagements on the frontline, including 38 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector, where Russian forces lost 91 troops in the assaults.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a war update as of 22:00 on March 24, 2025, Ukrinform reports.
“Since the beginning of the day, there have been 138 clashes. Russian invaders carried out 76 airstrikes, deploying 104 guided bombs. Additionally, the enemy used 794 kamikaze drones and launched 4,749 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements,” the report states.
In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces attempted three attacks toward Vovchansk, with all of them repelled.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy conducted six assaults on Ukrainian positions near Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zahryzove. One battle is ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, Russian troops launched 24 attacks near Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, Stepove, Novomykhailivka, Novyi, Zarichne, and Dronivka. Ukrainian forces are repelling five ongoing assaults.
In the Siversk sector, six enemy offensives near Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske were repelled.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped five attacks near Chasiv Yar and Dyliivka.
In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops launched 19 attacks, focusing on Toretsk, Dyliivka, Dachne, and Krymske. One engagement is still underway.
In the Pokrovsk sector, 38 enemy assaults were aimed at breaking through Ukrainian defenses near Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and towards Pokrovsk, Kotliarivka, Bohdanivka, and Oleksiivka. Two battles are still ongoing. Pokrovsk has been hit by airstrikes.
Ukrainian forces are holding the line, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. In particular, 91 Russian troops were eliminated, 52 of them irrecoverably. Five enemy vehicles, two infantry fighting vehicles, a motorcycle, and a Supercam drone were destroyed.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 14 assaults near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, and Vesele.
In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy failed three times to advance near Novopil and Vilne Pole. Russian airstrikes hit Novodarivka, Malynivka, and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces launched two unsuccessful attacks towards Lobkove. Enemy airstrikes targeted Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, and Kamianske.
In the Dnipro River sector, no active Russian offensive operations were recorded.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continued operations in the Kursk sector, where the enemy launched 18 assaults and 13 airstrikes, dropping 17 guided bombs and conducting 262 artillery attacks, including two MLRS barrages.
