
French President Emmanuel Macron will receive Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Wednesday evening, on the eve of the summit of the “Coalition of the willing” nations.
That’s according to BFM TV, Ukrinform reports.
The Elysee Palace announced that Emmanuel Macron would receive his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky this Wednesday evening, March 26, to “prepare” a Paris summit of the “Coalition of the willing” countries ready to provide security guarantees to Ukraine.
“The head of state will once again reaffirm to President Zelensky France’s continued military and financial support to Ukraine as its main priority,” the statement said.
It is noted that the two leaders will make statements to the press ahead of the bilateral meeting. They will then hold a working dinner.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said the summit of the “Coalition of the willing” on Ukraine will be held in Paris next Thursday, March 27, with the participation of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
