Russia is increasing the number of crews able to operate Shahed kamikaze drones, as well as the number of launch sites, to boost attacks.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko, Ukrinform saw.
“Russia is increasing the number of Shahed crews to increase the number of launches. It is also preparing new sites. This is how Russia ‘seeks’ a ceasefire and peace – they intend to expand terror against civilians,” Kovalenko emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, media reports said Russia was creating three new UAV launch sites in the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region in addition to the seven existing ones. This may allow increasing the number of Shaheds launches in a single attack.
In a comment to Ukrinform, Deputy Head of Ukraine’s defense intelligence, Major General Vadym Skibitsky, said Russia maintains a high pace of missile production, including of the Kh-101, Kalibr, and Iskander missiles.
