War update: 207 combat clashes along frontline over past day, operation in Kursk region ongoing

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, providing an update as of 8:00 on Wednesday, March 26.

Russian forces launched 116 airstrikes, dropping 184 guided bombs on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

Additionally, the enemy carried out over 5,500 shelling attacks, including 159 using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and deployed 2,233 kamikaze drones.

Russian airstrikes targeted areas near the settlements of Petrushivka, Uhroiidy, Krasnopillia, Prokhody, and Turia in Sumy region, Zolochiv and Prudianka in Kharkiv region, Serhiivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Chunyshyne, Novopil, Zoria, Sukha Balka, and Piddubne in Donetsk region, Ternove and Dachne in Dnipropetrovsk region, Novodarivka, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region, Vesele, Oleksandrivka, and Dudchany in Kherson region.

Throughout the past day, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck nine clusters of enemy personnel, weapons, and equipment, one command post, two artillery systems, and three other important Russian targets.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces attempted four assaults near Vovchansk, Tykhe, and toward Kamianka, but were repelled.

In the Kupiansk sector, the Ukrainian defenders stopped five Russian attacks near Zahryzove and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy carried out 24 attacks, trying to breach the Ukrainian defenses near Yampolivka, Nadia, Kopanky, and toward Novomykhailivka, Olhivka, Nove, and Katerynivka.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces halted five assaults near Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, and Ivano-Dariivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, two clashes were recorded near Predtechyne and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy launched 26 attacks near Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Krymske.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 69 Russian assaults near Sukha Balka, Kalynove, Oleksandropil, Zelenyi Pole, Lysivka, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Shevchenko, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, Bohdanivka, and toward Novoserhiivka, Malynivka, and Kotliarivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian forces carried out 23 attacks near Rozlyv, Dniproenerhiia, and Kostiantynopil.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian troops stopped one Russian advance near Pryvilne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces attempted to advance nine times near Kamianske and toward Lobkove and Stepove.

In the Prydniprovske sector, one battle occurred.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their operation in Russia’s Kursk region. Over the past day, the Russian forces conducted 19 airstrikes, dropping 23 guided bombs, and 247 shelling attacks, including seven MLRS strikes

The Ukrainian defenders repelled 29 Russian assault actions in Kursk region.

As Ukrinform reported, the total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to March 26, 2025, amount to approximately 907,220 personnel, including 1,280 over the past day alone.
