More than 2,447 children have already been injured, 606 of whom have died, as a result of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
This was reported on Facebook by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Ukrinform reports.
“More than 2,447 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression. As of the morning of March 28, 2025, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 606 children were killed and more than 1,841 were injured of varying severity,” the PGO said.
According to the prosecutor’s office, children suffered the most in the following regions: Donetsk – 636, Kharkiv – 471, Kherson – 202, Dnipro – 203, Kyiv – 136, Zaporizhzhia – 170, Mykolaiv – 118, Sumy – 115.
“In recent days: On March 25, a three-year-old girl died and a 15-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling in Kurtivka village, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region. On March 26, a 14-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling in Kharkiv,” the statement said.
As reported, as of March 25, 2025, and since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russians have killed 605 children in Ukraine.
