Russian strikes damage emergency services equipment in Dnipro, Sumy region

On March 28, as a result of Russian attacks, firefighting equipment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) was damaged in the city of Dnipro and in Sumy region.

As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced by the SES in a Telegram post.

“As a result of the attack in Dnipro, four people were killed, and 21 were injured. Civilian objects sustained damage and destruction. Understanding that SES rescuers are working on-site, Russia deliberately struck the firefighters again,” the statement said.

In Dnipro, as a result of the repeated strike, two units of firefighting and rescue equipment were damaged.

In Sumy region, a fire truck was damaged by drone debris. The rescuers managed to move to safe locations and, after the situation had been stabilized, returned to continue addressing the consequences of the attack.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 94 drones that Russia used to attack Ukraine starting from the evening of March 28.

President Volodymyr Zelensky, after another Russian attack on Ukraine, stated that Russia is mocking the peace efforts of the world because it still does not feel real pressure.
