
Russian troops launched a ballistic missile attack at Kryvyi Rih.
Head of Kryvyi Rih Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul confirmed the missile strike on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.
“Kryvyi Rih. Missile attack. Ballistics. Do not film or post anything online. Further strikes are possible. Stay safe,” Vilkul wrote.
Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported that at least one person was injured. The attack caused a fire and infrastructure damage.
Later, Vilkul informed that a missile strike resulted in five people being injured.
“Currently, there are five people who sustained moderate injuries,” he wrote.
The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Emergency services are working at the scene.
As Ukrinform previously reported, overnight on March 27, Kryvyi Rih was also hit by Russian drone attacks which sparked fires and damaged an administrative building, warehouses, a business, and six vehicles.
