
Ukraine’s Defense Forces have intercepted 94 Russian drones overnight March 28-29 while another 69 UAVs disappeared from radar.
That’s according to the Ukrainian Air Force, Ukrinform reports.
From 20:00 on Friday, March 28, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 172 Shahed-type attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types, launched from Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as Cape Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 08:30 on Saturday, March 29, a total of 94 drones have been confirmed as downed over northern, eastern, and central Ukraine.
Sixty-nine enemy drones disappeared from radar, causing no damage on the ground.
The Russian attack affected Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, four people were killed and 21 injured in a massive attack by Russian drones targeting the city of Dnipro on March 28.
