
Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, in collaboration with the Defense Forces, have captured five Russian soldiers in Russia’s Kursk region.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Air Assault Forces Command shared the information, along with a corresponding video, on Telegram.

These individuals had signed contracts to “fight against Nazis and mercenaries.” Within Russian units, they were subjected to inhumane treatment, including torture and executions for failing to carry out criminal orders and refusing to participate in “meat assaults.”
The prisoners were given timely medical and psychological assistance.
As previously reported, Ukrainian Ambassador to South Korea Dmytro Ponomarenko stated that Ukraine views the issue of North Korean prisoners of war not as a matter for negotiation or exchange but as one to be addressed based on international law and humanitarian principles.
