
Ukraine’s Defense Forces shot down 36 Russian missiles and 3,007 drones of various types in March 2025.
The Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
During the month, air defense forces destroyed an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile, 25 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles, eight Kalibr cruise missiles, an Iskander-K cruise missile, a Kh-59/69 guided air missile, 2,328 Shahed attack drones, 805 reconnaissance drones, and 874 drones of other types.
Throughout March, the Air Force conducted over 580 sorties, including around 200 for fire missions and air support, and more than 320 for fighter air cover.
Ukrainian aircraft destroyed 412 aerial targets in March and struck command posts, logistics facilities, and enemy troop and equipment concentrations.
UAV units of the Air Force’s Combined Rifle Brigade performed 3,429 combat drone missions, including 2,976 reconnaissance flights and 453 strike missions using FPV drones and munition drops.
As a result, more than 260 occupiers were eliminated, along with 88 enemy fortifications and positions, a field fuel depot, a tank, and three enemy drone launch sites.
Between 20:00 on Saturday, March 29, and 09:00 on Sunday, March 30, Ukrainian forces shot down 65 Russian drones, while an additional 35 UAVs vanished from the radar.
