In the temporarily occupied cities of Mariupol and Berdiansk, Russian forces are confiscating equipment from private auto repair shops to service their military vehicles.
The Yellow Ribbon resistance movement announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
Russian troops, accompanied by members of the so-called “military prosecutor’s office,” are seizing tools and machinery without providing any documentation or compensation. They justify the confiscations as necessary for “special military operation repairs.”
Those who resist face threats of searches and accusations of “discrediting the Russian army.” Many locals fear reporting these actions to the occupation authorities, as it could worsen their situation.
Earlier reports said that Russian forces continued to seize civilian homes, businesses, farmland, and mineral deposits in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.
