
In his video address, President Volodymyr Zelensky recognized the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine who worked in Kharkiv, Dnipro and Sumy regions.
According to Ukrinform, this is stated in the evening video address published on the President’s website.
“Today I want to recognize our people who work to save others. These are the rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who have proved themselves in these weeks,” Zelensky said.
The President honored the rescuers of Kharkiv region: Andrii Bondar, Dmytro Kutia, Vladyslav Oliynyk, Anatolii Yaskovets, Vladyslav Makarichev, Yevhen Makovetskyi, and Artem Moskalenko.

The President also honored the rescuers of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipro region: Hennadii Petrenko, Oleksandr Tykva, Vladyslav Shipin, Pavlo Haidukov, Oleksii Kvasov, Oleksandr Khantytskyi, Kostiantyn Rezun.
In addition, the Head of State honored rescuers from Sumy region: Oleksandr Klochkov, Oleh Hetman, Oleksandr Myhal, Mykola Bychenko, Viacheslav Tovkach, Andrii Chuchyn, Serhii Nenia, and Anatolii Gergela.
Zelensky thanked the rescuers and the staff of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“Thank you and I want to thank the entire staff of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine! To everyone who helps our people, everyone who supports Ukraine, works for the state, for the strength of our army, for the safety of all our people,” the President emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russian Federation used more than 1,000 attack drones, 1,310 guided aerial bombs and 9 missiles of various types against Ukraine this week.
