European Commission sends EUR 3.5B under Ukraine Facility

The European Commission has transferred to Ukraine EUR 3.5 billion as the next tranche under the Ukraine Facility.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

According to the head of government, “these funds will help us continue to maintain macroeconomic stability.”

The European Commission noted Ukraine’s commitment to implementing reforms on the path to full membership of the European Union as the total financial assistance under the Ukraine Facility has already reached EUR 19.6 billion, Shmyhal noted.

Also, he thanked the EU for “constant support and solidarity with Ukraine in difficult times. Together we will endure and rebuild everything.”

As reported, for 2024, EUR 16.1 billion has already been transferred to the state budget under the Ukraine Facility program.
