Russian war casualty toll up by 1,540 in past day

Russia’s total combat losses since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine have been estimated at 916,770, including 1,540 killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.

That’s according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, Ukrinform reports.

The defense forces have also destroyed 10,505 Russian tanks (+9 in the past day), 21,856 (+37) armored fighting vehicles, 25,552 (+15) artillery systems, 1,347 MLR systems, 1,123 air defense systems, 370  warplanes, 335 helicopters, 31,462 (+46) operational and tactical-level UAVs, 3,123 (+2) cruise missiles, 28 warships/cutters, a submarine, 42,646 (+53) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 3,787 units of specialized equipment.

The latest reports on enemy casualties are being verified.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on March 31, as of 22:00 Kyiv time, 175 combat clashes have been recorded along the frontlines since day-start on Monday.
