Russian drone attack on Kryvyi Rih kills one, several injured

One person has been killed and several others injured in Kryvyi Rih as a result of a Russian drone attack.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, reported the attack on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“One person was killed as a result of the UAV attack on Kryvyi Rih,” he wrote.

According to Lysak, three more people were injured.

“They have received all necessary medical assistance and will continue recovering at home,” he added.

Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, clarified that the victim was an elderly woman who died in a fire after a Shahed drone struck a private house. According to him, five people were injured in total.

“Trams to ‘Druzhba’ won’t be running in the morning. Rails and overhead lines were damaged. Fires at two locations are still being extinguished,” Vilkul noted, adding that an assistance center for victims is already being set up.

Late on April 4, explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih during an enemy drone attack. The attack caused fires in several locations.
