Zelensky: All Ukrainian cities and villages united in support of Kryvyi Rih

President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that all Ukrainian cities and villages have united in support of Kryvyi Rih, which was attacked by the Russian army.

According to Ukrinform, this was stated in an evening address published on the President’s website.

“Now Ukrainian cities and villages are united in support of Kryvyi Rih. From Dnipro and Kharkiv to Uzhhorod, from Odesa to Kyiv, all regions, all regional centers, and many communities are showing their solidarity and honoring the memory of the victims. I thank everyone for this absolutely right emotion – the emotion of support and unity that strengthens our entire state,” the Head of State emphasized.

Zelensky separately thanked everyone “whose heart felt pain and anger because of what happened.”

“We must all remember: the war is on. We must support our defense, our soldiers, and our state. We have to do everything to strengthen Ukraine’s position and to make sure that as many people in the world as possible know and feel what is happening and why they should be with Ukraine, especially at times like this,” he emphasized.

The President also thanked the people who worked at the site of the attack in Kryvyi Rih. “I thank you, I thank all your colleagues, everyone in the city’s utilities who cares about people, all the doctors and nurses, every volunteer who joined the help, and everyone who cares about our people, about our country. It is important to be together,” Zelensky summarized.

As Ukrinform reported, on the evening of April 4, the Russian army fired a ballistic missile at a residential area of Kryvyi Rih. 18 people were killed and 61 others were injured. At this time, 74 people are known to be injured.

Late in the evening of April 4, drones attacked the city, killing one person and injuring seven others.

There are children among the dead and injured.

April 7, 8, and 9 were declared Days of Mourning for the victims in Kryvyi Rih.
