Emergency crews clearing aftermath of missile strike in Kyiv’s Obolonskyi district

Emergency crews in Kyiv’s Obolonskyi district continue to clear the aftermath of Russia’s April 6 missile strike.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

Rescuers are dismantling debris and dousing smoldering remains. They worked through the night and cleanup operations are still ongoing.

As previously reported, the missile strike caused a fire in a furniture workshop in the Obolonskyi district. Thirteen vehicles parked near an office center were damaged, and the upper floors of the building were partially destroyed.

A separate fire also broke out in a non-residential building in the Darnytskyi district. In the Solomianskyi district, windows of retail kiosks were damaged.

One man was killed in the attacks. Three other men, aged between 36 and 57, sustained injuries.
