OSCE convenes special session over Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih

Ukraine initiated a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council on Tuesday, April 8, in the context of the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih.

According to Ukrinform, Yurii Vitrenko, Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, wrote about it on his Facebook page.

“At the request of Ukraine, in response to the bloody Russian missile attack against children and adults in Kryvyi Rih, as well as the escalation of the roster against civilians throughout Ukraine, tomorrow (08.04) an emergency special session of the OSCE Permanent Council is convened,” the statement reads.

According to Vitrenko, tomorrow the Moscow delegation to the OSCE “will have the ground burning under their feet.”

As Ukrinform reported, on the evening of April 4, Russian troops fired a ballistic missile at a residential area of Kryvyi Rih. 19 people were killed, including 9 children, and 74 others were injured. Late in the evening, drones attacked the city, killing one person and injuring seven. As of April 7, 33 people remain in hospitals, 18 of them in serious condition.
