Over the past day, police in Kherson region have recorded damage to medical and educational institutions and mobile phone operator equipment as a result of hostile shelling. It has become known that two people were killed and five wounded as a result of Russian attacks.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the police of the Kherson region in a report for the past day.
“Yesterday, Russian troops fired at Kherson and Beryslav districts with artillery, mortars, multiple rocket launchers and UAVs,” the report says.

As noted, Kherson, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Prydniprovske, Blahovishchenske, Sadove, Poniativka, Velyetenske, and Beryslav were affected by the enemy’s attacks.
The police recorded damage to two apartment buildings and nine private houses, an administrative building, medical and educational institutions, mobile phone operator equipment, and a car.
In particular, during the day, Russian troops shelled the village of Bilozerka twice with artillery. A 75-year-old man and two women aged 57 and 65 were wounded. All of them had contusions, explosive and craniocerebral injuries, and shrapnel wounds. An administrative building and five private houses were damaged.

A 63-year-old man who was walking down the street at the time of the attack was seriously injured as a result of an explosive dropped from a UAV on a residential area in Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson. The victim died during evacuation from the danger zone. Russian occupation forces also shelled Antonivka with multiple rocket launchers. On the same day, the body of a 62-year-old local resident was found on a street in the village. It is likely that the man died as a result of a UAV attack.
Russians shelled Veletynske with multiple rocket launchers, damaging a private house there. Another residential building was damaged in Poniativka as a result of an explosive drop from a drone.
Artillery fire damaged two apartment buildings and a car in Blahovishchenske.
Korabelny district of Kherson suffered from enemy artillery attacks. A medical facility and two private houses were damaged by enemy shells. An educational institution was damaged by shelling in the Central district.
A 68-year-old man from Kherson, who was diagnosed with mine-blast trauma and concussion, also sought medical assistance. He was wounded last week in Dniprovsky district, where he came under attack from an enemy drone.
Also, a 74-year-old resident of Shyroka Balka, who recently suffered from a Russian UAV attack, needed medical assistance. The man was diagnosed with an explosive injury and gunshot wounds to his legs.
Over the past 24 hours, police responded to 224 statements and reports from citizens about criminal offenses and other incidents. Six proceedings were opened under Article 438 “War crimes” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As Ukrinform reported, according to the RMA, in the Kherson region, one person was killed and five others were injured in Russian strikes yesterday, April 6.
