
The United States Embassy in Ukraine flew its flags at half-mast on Sunday, the day of mourning for the victims of the Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih.
The relevant photo was shared by U.S. Ambassador Bridget Brink on X, Ukrinform reports.
“We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine on this day of national mourning after a Russian missile attack in Krivvy Rih killed 20, including 9 children. Our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of all those killed and injured,” she wrote.
Earlier on Sunday, the Lithuanian Embassy in Ukraine announced it was lowering its flags on the day of mourning for the victims of the Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih.
As Ukrinform reported, four children remained in serious condition after the Russian missile attack on Kryvyi Rih.
On the evening of April 4, Russian troops fired a ballistic missile at a residential area of Kryvyi Rih. Nineteen people were killed, including nine children, and 74 were injured. Late in the evening, drones attacked the city, killing another civilian and injuring seven.
On April 6, a 57-year-old man injured in the attack died in hospital.
On April 6, Ukrainian cities and villages declared a Day of Mourning for the victims.
