Russian forces are constructing so-called anti-drone corridors for moving military equipment in the border area of Kursk region, however, Ukrainian troops are successfully destroying it.

According to Ukrinform, Andrii Demchenko, Spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS), reported this on live broadcast.

“Considering that Ukrainian units, including the SBGS, use drones to destroy the enemy on Russian territory, an anti-drone corridor (a set of countermeasures) was created in Kursk region. The enemy is setting up such corridors to prevent strikes on equipment moving along these routes, protecting it from our aerial systems that can reach into Russian territory,” Demchenko informed.

However, he noted that Ukraine’s Defense Forces have still been able to strike enemy assets moving through these corridors.

“Repeatedly, our guys, who were trained in drone operations, have destroyed equipment moving through these corridors, as well as the groups involved in setting them up. We will continue doing everything possible to destroy these corridors, prevent their expansion, and stop the enemy from freely moving near our state border,” the Spokesperson assured.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Ukrainian Defense Forces recently halted a Russian assault at the border of Sumy region, effectively disrupting their attempt to use such an anti-drone corridor.
