On the evening of April 21, Russian forces launched strikes on the Kupiansk and Bohodukhiv districts of the Kharkiv region, killing one person and injuring another.
According to Ukrinform, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk and Bohodukhiv district prosecutor’s offices, pre-trial investigations have been launched into war crimes (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, at around 19:20, Russian forces carried out an artillery strike on Kupiansk, hitting a private residential area. A 58-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction as a result.
Later the same evening, in the village of Ivashky (Zolochiv community, Bohodukhiv district), an enemy FPV drone struck a 24-year-old man riding a scooter. The victim died at the scene.
Despite the challenging security conditions, prosecutors, together with police investigators, are taking all necessary measures to document war crimes committed by Russian military personnel.
